INFRASTRUCTURE

Residential Life
All students of the college have been lodged in two separate hostels for boys and girls. The girls' hostel is within the campus and is well cared for. Every effort is made that the girl students get homely ambience outside their homes. It is ensured that all their daily needs are met within the hostel vicinity. Staying at the campus allow students to avail Library & Computer Lab facilities till late hours. The boys hostel is one km from the campus and is served by College Bus. There is 24 hours generator backup in all the hostel rooms and campus. The hostels have resident wardens. In winter, students are provided with the hot water through solar water heating plant and other associated facilities. We provide fully furnished, well ventilated airy rooms to make their stay comfortable. These hostels are equipped with modern amenities and facilities for sports and recreations such as T.V., outdoor games, indoor games etc. PCO/STD and Net surfing facilities are also available.

Library and Information Access Facilities
The Library (Learning Resource Center) plays a vital role in providing & nurturing knowledge and aids in learning & teaching activities. The primary purpose of the library is to support teaching, research, academic & management programs and collaboration with others. The Library is well-stocked with a wide range of books, journals, newspapers & periodicals, prescribed titles and the reference material. A large number of National & International journals are also available on regular subscriptions from IEEE, IETE, IE, CSI, NISCARE, IISc, IIM, ICFAI and IIMB etc. Library is fully automated through LIBSYS software and Web OPAC feature is installed for easy search. Member of IEEE, DELNET, CSI, IETE, IE & TERI. Subscription of Online Journals from DELNET & IEEE. Speedy Internet access facility available for exploring online Journals and World

Book Bank
In addition to the other services provided by-the Library we provide the scheme of "Book Bank". This is being done to provide academic support to the students by enabling them to get the latest books from the college itself, especially books on the once and core subjects of each semester without any hassles. Every student is required to deposit a nominal membership fee. In turn, will get 6-8 books for whole semester. A part on membership fee is refunded after completion the course.

Auditorium
DGI auditorium is the best among those on any academic campus in the country. This has comfortable seating of 360 seats. In addition to air conditioning it is also equipped with an ultra modem professional level light and sound system, LCD Multimedia Projector and Interactive Video Conferencing System (Polycom Inc.). The audi as we call it hosts all the major events on the campus from the convocation

Lecture Halls
The classrooms are spacious, well set and ventilated.The lecture halls are specifically segregated for tutorials and lectures, Lab-cum-classrooms make is easier for theory and practice to run alongside. Latest technical devices such as Multimedia Projector, Advanced PA System, Smart Board and OHP etc. are add-ons to the fully equipped and furnished lecture hall.

Internet Facilities
DIG has 2MBPS Leased Line from Reliance & 256 KBPS Leased Line from BSNL on Optical Fiber Media (OFC) for fast Internet Connectivity. CYBEROAM - Unified Threat Management Device (Firewall & Bandwidth Management) installed for restricting the unwanted sites. The separate internet lab is installed to fulfill the needs of the students and faculty

Departmental Lab
Laboratories are integral and important constituents of any educational setup. With this firm belief, the College has set up suitable laboratories for each department. Time Table is prepared in such a way that every student or group of students gets equal time to utilize the laboratories. Requisite number of laboratories for all the branches exists and is adequate as per syllabus. Space in the laboratories is adequate and as per the norms. Required number of equipments is present in the laboratories. Laboratories possess the equipments and raw materials to conduct experiments beyond the syllabus. Quality of labs is excellent and is well maintained. Continuous review of the laboratories and if any up gradation is needed
